What is love?

The old saying says that love is patient, kind, and never fails. Do you believe this to be true? Giving your all to someone, puts one of the two into a receiving position. Is your intentions pure or is there a hidden agenda behind the sweet words, settle looks, and the nice gifts. I believe that we have gotten to a place that individuals are so afraid of being hurt, that they hold back instead. We have gotten to a place that individuals think that monetary solutions can solve emotional issues. We have gotten to a place the individuals think that as long as he is running those pockets, he must love me! Until we wake up in our spirits and realize that this satisfaction, is only temporary and is not at all fulfilling.
